Logistics & supply chain
Chemicals, machinery and consumables move under different rules. Here is how we ship each of them, and what we need from you to quote accurately.
Freight modes
Sea freight
The default mode for chemicals in drums, IBCs and flexitanks, and for machinery shipped in containers or as break bulk.
Air freight
Used for samples, urgent consumables and spare parts where transit time outweighs freight cost.
Indicative transit times
| Destination region | Sea (days) | Air (days) |
|---|---|---|
| Europe | 35–50 | 5–9 |
| Middle East | 30–40 | 4–7 |
| East Asia | 25–38 | 3–6 |
| Americas | 40–55 | 6–10 |
| Africa | 33–48 | 5–9 |
Transit times are indicative port-to-port estimates and exclude customs clearance and inland haulage. Actual schedules depend on carrier, routing and season, and are confirmed at the time of booking.
Incoterms we quote
We quote on the terms most commonly used in our markets. Tell us which you need and we price accordingly.
Dangerous goods
Several products we supply are classified as dangerous goods for transport. These require compliant packaging, marking, documentation and carrier acceptance, and cannot be shipped by every route. Where a product is regulated, we handle the declaration and confirm the accepted routing before booking.
Transport classification, packing group and handling requirements are stated in the safety data sheet issued for each product. Request the SDS before booking freight.
